As far as the character stats go, Speed seems useless, since it does not seem to affect attack speed all that much, i mean guys with HALF Speed of others still attacked if not with the same speed, slightly less speed, too much slight to actually notice, and if speed only affects moving around, then it could not be more useless, since running around does not help in this kind of game.
as far as gameplay, it is boring after a while, since if you look beyond the individual projectiles and outfits, all characters are the same.
i would expect different use of the knife, or projectiles to have some other purpose than just damage, With Anarchy blast doing some major knock back, and beer bottle scattering harmful shards of glass maybe, give projectiles another purpose than just another way to do damage, since you are gonna spent most of the time in close range, and i found my self using a projectile for no other reason to land an extra hit, when something that uses an energy bar needs more use to it, even if the bar cools down fast.
a fighting game needs more moves... individual, unique moves.
look at new grounds rumble, for a VERY good example of that, you cannot play pico the same as hank, or Asshole the same as Nene, while here you can play each character the same regardless of projectile, looks or stats.
i read somewhere below that this was a test, seeing how to program stats in a VS game, and judging that all i can say is:
Bind speed with how fast a character can attack, not just moving around. so you make the lack of speed really show.

I have to disagree that speed doesn't help you in this game. I think it's great to get some distance from your enemy and throw him with some magic...

Animation COULD be better, i have seen better.
but we cannot all have the crisp and crystal clear animation of Blackenwood, now, can we? ^^
but here is where the movie wins...

Above average drawings and animation, basic plot that actually WORKS, and selectable endings which are both PWNSOME on there own regard make this a superb piece.
as a whole, i give this 2 parter a 7.5, rounded up as 8's on both submissions
remember, that in my scale, only master pieces get 9's or 10's ^^
i am sorry, but this is no 9 or 10 ^^;

since you can make HUGE AMOUNTS of cash by rapidly changing heat, an un-dodge- able omnipotent power to have XD
could use a LOT more work, but i would let it pass as a timekiller and nothing else

Kicks ASS!
I loved all the different guns,
and got almost every medal on this... the ones i don't have are somewhat impractical guns...
although that some guns are impractical is a realistic factor, each player should feel good with there own play style, and the game offers, with a wide selection of guns and ammo crates to refill them when Enemies don't have them, which is GREAT.
I love the Berettas, (Deciple of woo and beligerantly Understated GOT!)
The Tavor (Never bring a pistol to a rifle fight GOT!)
And the OH GOD...
the freaking LEVER SHOTGUN.
i LOVE the lever shotgun!
"shove it to there nose and pull the trigger" medal gave me a hint on how to score the "cranial eviscerator" medal, after i realized how good the lever shotgun was if you were lose enough to touch there nose with it and shoot them, most of the enemies are one-hit kills with that gun at the nose-shoving range...
Nice work making the BEST 2D shooter EVER dude! you deserve all the awards!

LOL the Zetto-inspired villain has the name of Goku and vegeta's potara fusion (as it was named in the original manga) XD

Ok... some special attacks, and making the enemies actually try to SWING to hit you would be nice...
Sorry, but you see, i was merely TOUCHING the enemies to lose health... some attack animations on there part, and not losing health every single time i touch someone would be nice...
make the enemies have attack animations, whih if you somehow slash through or dodge you do not take damage
And have a mana or something bar and some special attacks using it ...
like a cure spell, A projectile, i massive damage move, a hit everything on screen move and such... and why not, a multi-slash and critical dodge
it is AVERAGE...
not bad, but surely not going above baseline...
with some tweaks we would have an awesome slash-em-up
